Terms & Conditions

 

PAYMENT: All payments, including the security deposit and final payment, are non-refundable and non-transferrable. The final balance is due the morning of the wedding day. The person(s) responsible for the entire balance of payment is the person(s) who has signed the booking contract. Accepted forms of payment: cash, check made out to Georgiana Chanthavane, Venmo, or credit card. No later than the final day of the service, the bride will be responsible for ensuring all members of her party has paid in full by submitting the grand total (as stated in the signed invoice) as one payment to the artists of G|S.

EVENT CANCELLATION: Your booking is a reserved spot. The security deposit and all payments are non-refundable and non-transferrable. Under the foreseen or unforeseen event that the Client must cancel, a team member of G|S must be notified of event cancellation at least 30 days prior to the service date or Client will be responsible for 100% of the remaining balance agreed upon in this contract or the cancellation fee amount provided by the artist. Changes to the terms of this contract will be at the discretion of G|S Soeur Beauté. In the unforeseen event that the artist(s) becomes ill or is unable to perform services on the reserved event date, we will refund the security deposit to the signed holder of this contract by original payment method by 1-3 business days.

RESCHEDULING: In the foreseen or unforeseen circumstance that this contract’s agreed event date must change and G|S agrees to the new date, a new contract is required to secure the new date. G|S will void the original contract, and all previous payments and the retainer fee for the original event date remain non-refundable & non-transferrable.

CHANGES IN SERVICE HEADCOUNT: Any requests for additional services after this contract is signed must be submitted in writing. Additions requested on the day of service are at the discretion of G|S and are not guaranteed. Any agreed additional performed services to this contract will be paid in full upon completion and are billed at regular posted rates.

SATISFACTION GUARANTEED: Makeup will be completed to client’s satisfaction, but is not to exceed allotted makeup time. Ample time is given for each makeup application upon booking. Acceptance of completed makeup application by client is acknowledgement by client that makeup is done to his/her satisfaction.

AFTER HOURS SERVICE FEE: Your booking is a reserved time. The artist schedules accordingly by the information provided by the Client. Additional After Hours scheduling, service fees or special requests fees (tattoo coverage, on location touchups, etc.) will be at the discretion of the Artist. Service fees are charged $20 hourly. The Client agrees to pay the after hour service fees and/or special request fees.

RESPONSIBILITY: The responsibility of the makeup artist(s), Georgie Chanthavane/ Stacey Keopraseuth or their assistant(s), is limited. G|S shall not be liable for any loss, injury, illness, or damage to any client and/or property. You agree that G|S will not be held liable for any damages to any client and property in connection with terrorist activities, social or labor unrest, mechanical, or construction failures or difficulties, illness, local laws, weather, strikes thefts, pilferage, or defaults.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: It is understood & agreed that G|S will not be liable to the customer or any agent associate of the customer, for any mistake or error in judgment or for any act of omission done in good faith and believed to be within the scope of authority conferred or implied by this agreement. Client agrees to not hold G|S liable for property damages or wedding day complications that could result in monetary loss.

LIABILITY: Any skin condition or allergies shall be reported by the client to the makeup artist prior to application and, if need be, a sample test of makeup may be performed on the skin to test reaction. Client(s) agree to release G|S or their assistant(s) from liability for any skin complications due to allergic reactions. Client understands and acknowledges that G|S may alter service(s) or NOT perform services where any contagious infections or illness such as pink eye (conjunctivitis), cold sores/fever blisters, etc are present. Client also acknowledges that they will allow G|S and her assistant(s) to work in safe conditions for personal safety. At any time, if a G|S team member feels physically threatened or verbally abused, they may cease the performance of services and exit the location of services. NON-DEFAMATION:Client and all parties obtaining services from G|S or her assistant(s) agree that they will not, directly or indirectly, make or ratify any defamatory comments, reviews or remarks as defined by law, In writing, orally or electronically, about G|S and their respective products and services. By receiving services, you agree to this contract stipulation whether or not this contract is signed by the party obtaining the service. Client acknowledges and agrees that verbal abuse is unacceptable by any person at the event and shall be grounds for G|S to cease services immediately. Client acknowledges that they will not be entitled to a refund for any work already performed and client may not review G|S poorly on social media or other review sites if such instance occurs, instead Client may submit a feedback form upon request.

TRAVELING: A standard travel fee is required for all services. This travel fee is non-refundable & will be due on the day of the service. This travel fee is applied to each travel to the client. Client agrees to compensate the artist(s) for all travel expenses including valet parking, parking fees, toll fees, & hotel fees. If your venue is within the 20 miles this travel fee may be reduced; If the consultation is out of state the fees will vary depending on mileage and travel prices.
